Describe the Vibe | Issue #2 in 10 Songs

Jazz out here bein’ messy, y’all! She better be careful before somebody gets hurt. She knows she’s a big ol’ softie under that mysterious, aloof exterior.

This is a sample of the soundtrack for Issue #2. It’s for when you don’t wanna call your sneaky link, but the parasites in you want to call your sneaky link.

Theme: Creepin’ & Freakin’ & Sneakin’

Here’s a little sample of what you can expect:

Or What by NLE Choppa: This perfectly captures the vibe between Linda (wait, Mel?) and Jazz. Only relations, no relationships. That’s it, that’s all.

Know by Syd: This song gives that vibe of sneaking around with somebody you ain’t got no business sneaking around with. Example: Jazz and Destiny disappearing to Tim’s bedroom so that Jazz can “help her” get out of her costume.

Can’t Let You Go by Fabolous: If this isn’t the perfect song to convey Jazz’s feelings toward Destiny, I don’t know what is. She couldn’t leave that girl alone if she tried (she didn’t try, but…)

Need to Know by Doja Cat: I can picture Destiny listening to this in the shower after Tim does some fuck shit again. But, she changes the lyrics to “Uh, wait, I can take it. Give a fuck ‘bout what my nigga sayin’!”

Thug Lovin’ by Ja Rule: I wouldn’t be surprised if Jazz was lip-synching this in the mirror while she was getting ready for the Halloween party. She knows Tim has been dropping the ball and she ready to catch it wit’ her lil messy ass.

All the Things (Your Man Won’t Do) by Joe: When you read the spicy scene in Issue #2 (pt.2), you’ll know exactly what I meant when I put this song here. That’s all imma say…

Between the Sheets by The Isley Brothers: Could we have made a freaky playlist without this classic on it? No. No, we couldn’t have. This song makes me think of how Jazz tried to take her time on Destiny.

Next Lifetime by Erykah Badu: I just know Destiny got this song in heavy rotation right now. She’s torn between her feelings and her obligations. Did she wait ‘til next lifetime tho? Wellll…

Ur Best Friend by Kiana Ledé: A love triangle between a guy, his best friend, and his girl? Yeah, if you’ve seen the music video for this song, you’ll know it’s perfect for this issue.

Me and Mrs. Jones by Billy Paul: This oldie did such a good job of making a sneaky link song sound romantic. And the lyrics “We both know that it’s wrong. But, it’s much too strong to let it go now.” speak directly to Jazz’s little girlfriend-snatching soul.

*BONUS* I Can Tell by 504 Boyz: I imagine this song playing when Jazz walks into the party all smooth-like blowing her weed and scoping the scene. What she thought this was? The opening scene of Belly?

**Sidenote** Did Jazz fuck Destiny with them platform boots on??
